Luxury Picnics FAQs
We will have everything set up prior to your arrival at your chosen location and time. Once you arrive, we will leave you to enjoy your picnic! We'll return to clean up and tear down at the end of your allotted time.
Our picnic packages include: 2-hour picnic time, start-to-finish setup and tear down, custom low-level picnic table with decor, cozy pillows and blankets, complete table setting with napkins, silverware, dinnerware, & glassware, welcome sign, wastebasket, ice bucket, and bottled water. We also offer a variety of add-ons for you to customize your event as desired.
Start by filling out our Inquiry Form with the details of your event. Keep in mind, this is just a request. Once we confirm availability of your request, we'll send an email for you to purchase your desired package and reserve your event in our calendar.
We recommend scheduling as far out as you can to ensure availability of your requested date and time. We require a minimum of 3 days advanced notice prior to your event.
We do not provide food/beverages (other than bottled water). You may bring your own food or use a local vendor to cater your event. While we do not provide food, we are happy to recommend local vendors, and can help coordinate food/beverage pickup, delivery, or setup for an additional fee.
If hosting your picnic in your home/backyard, you are welcome to enjoy your beverage of choice. Alcohol is prohibited in city parks. It's up to you to check the local alcohol regulations for any public space or venue where you plan to have your picnic. Once Upon a Picnic doesn't provide alcoholic beverages and isn't responsible for alcohol consumption or related penalties. Enjoy your picnic responsibly!
We ask that someone in your party stays with your picnic setup at all times to prevent any theft or damages to Once Upon a Picnic property. You are responsible for all rental equipment throughout your scheduled booking.
If you wish to leave your scheduled picnic time earlier than anticipated, please contact your Once Upon a Picnic team member prior to your departure so they may return and clean up as soon as possible. We ask that you stay with your picnic until your team member arrives to tear down.
In the event of inclement weather, you may choose from one of the following options:
You may reschedule your picnic for a future date/time.
You can choose to bring your picnic indoors (your home, a covered patio, etc).
If you choose to cancel instead of rescheduling, please note that your 50% deposit will be forfeited.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your luxury picnic reservation for any reason other than weather, see your options below.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your event will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your event will have the option to reschedule. If you choose to cancel, this will result in a loss of your 50% deposit. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you create a memorable experience!
