Glamping Teepee FAQs

• Kids of all ages can enjoy the glamping experience. We recommend our Glamping Sleepover Teepees for ages 5-13. As always, use your best judgement for your particular party. 

• Please book as soon as you can to ensure availability of your party date. We require two weeks advanced notice. Spaces are limited. You can book and secure your event with a 50% deposit. Final guest count is due 5 days prior to your party. To start the booking process, send us an email at onceuponapicnic.mn@gmail.com.

• • • A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 5 days before your party date.

    • If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, your 50% deposit will be refunded if you give at least 14 days notice.

    • In the event that you need to reschedule your party with less than 14 days notice, we will gladly work with you to find an alternative party date. However, if you choose to cancel your reservation instead of rescheduling, please note that your 50% deposit will be forfeited.

• • • Your rental will be overnight (up to 24 hours). We will agree on a drop off/pickup time that works with your party schedule. 

• You have two options:

  • We can assemble and style your sleepover for an extra $20 per Teepee. Setup takes about 1.5 - 2.5 hours, depending on the size of your party.  We will coordinate an agreed setup and tear down time with you upon booking.

    • Note: Please have furniture moved and space cleaned prior to our arrival. Additional space for walking will be needed. Please ensure there are no pets or children in the room during event setup.

  • We can deliver your sleepover package to your home for you to set up. No delivery/pickup charge within 15 miles of Marshall, MN. There will be an additional mileage charge if outside the 15 mile radius.

• Assembled dimensions are roughly 48" H x 48" D x 43" W (width can vary depending on how wide you need the opening). We use twin size air mattresses, which are 39" W. The legs of the Teepees stretch about two inches on each side of the mattress. Be sure to measure your space accordingly! If you have questions about spacing, please contact us.

• Linens are laundered after each use. Mattresses, trays, and decorative items are disinfected after each use and/or replaced as needed. We ask that party guests bring their own pillows to the sleepover. 

• We ask you to be mindful of what kids are eating and drinking in the tents. We recommend serving dry snacks (ex. popcorn) to prevent stains on the linens. Please also make sure kids are utilizing the food trays to contain any messes. 

• Absolutely! We cater to both girls and boys. We can customize different color/theme choices to suit any type of party!
